Victoria Ramos, 16 a sophomore at Timberline High is proud to represent our State Capitol in the 2014 Miss Teen USA pageant. Victoria has been very busy preparing for this once in a lifetime event. She hopes to use the Miss Teen USA platform to encourage and inspire youth to be positive role models in their community.
Victoria recently represented Olympia at the 2013 Boeing Classic Golf tournament and has attended seminars with Microsoft and Amazon professionals preparing for the Miss Teen USA pageant. Victoria has remained committed to her studies at Timberline High School, where she is taking AP courses.
Victoria’s demanding schedule also includes playing for Timberline High School’s Varsity soccer team where the team is competing to win a league title. Victoria also plays club soccer for TC United where she helped her team reach 3 tournament finals in the Seattle Cup, Rainier Valley Slam and the Federal Way blast. She has coached youth teams as a means to give back and share her love of soccer with younger generations. Victoria aspires to study Occupational Therapy and plans to play for her college soccer team.
This year’s pageant will showcase contestants from all across the state of Washington, and the prizes, cash, scholarships and awards will probably be similar to last year, which was valued at over $900,000. The Miss Washington USA® and Miss Washington Teen USA® pageants will be held October 18 – 19, 2013 at Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien.
