spscc boys basketballNew South Puget Sound Community College Men’s Basketball Coach Aaron Landon announced his first signing, inking Union High School’s (Vancouver, Wash.) Chris Williams to a Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges’ Letter of Intent this week.

The signing, which took place on June 11, brings the 6-foot-1-inch, 190-pound point guard to the Clippers.

“I am excited to add Chris to the South Puget Sound men’s basketball program,” Landon said. “He is a talented player and more importantly a good person. Chris has all the physical tools but his work ethic and desire to be great is what makes him special. Finally, Chris will be a great ambassador for our program on the South Puget Sound campus and in the community.”

Landon was hired in late May to replace former coach Curtis Norwood, who announced his resignation after three seasons at the helm.
