The Family Support Center of South Sound is pleased to announce their Olympia Federal Savings Golf Tournament to benefit homeless families with children. This tournament is presented by Vine Street Group and sponsored by Mixx 96.1. They are excited to welcome The First Lady of Washington, Ms. Trudi Inslee, as the honorary chair for this event. Ms. Inslee’s passion for ending homelessness and her love for golf make her the perfect person for this role.
The 2nd annual golf tournament will take place, once again, at the beautiful and exclusive, Indian Summer Golf and Country Club on Monday, June 24th, 2013. Last year The Family Support Center was able to raise over $25,000 for their programs and their goal is to double that in 2013.
The event will kick off with registration and a continental breakfast, followed by a shotgun scramble. There will be many games and activities available for players during the day and a complimentary boxed lunch. At the end of the afternoon, there will be a program with silent auction items, raffles, prizes for teams and a banquet featuring the honorary chair, The First Lady of Washington, Ms. Trudi Inslee.
