April is the Month of the Military Child – a time to honor all military children whose parents are on active duty.

“Purple Up for Military Kids” is a visible way to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices; a time to show your gratitude for thier parents and loved ones that are in the service of our nation.

Why purple?  Purple is the color that symbolizes all branches of the military; a combination of Navy blue, Marine red, Coast Guard blue, Army green, and Air Force blue.

On Friday, April 12, Garden Courte Memory Care is going to “Purple Up” with t-shirts, hair bows, hats, socks, you name it — we will put it on to show our support!  Send your ‘Purple Picture’ to Heather at gardenmkg1@islllc.com to be shared on our Facebook and Pinterest pages.

Thank you for your “Purple Up” support.
