It’s Time to Prepare

Daylight savings time is a great time to make a few simple efforts to protect you and your family. A little preparation now can make a power outage or other disaster more manageable.

  • Turn your clocks back for daylight savings.
  • Inspect your smoke detector and change the battery.
  • Take a look at your emergency supplies.  Kits should have a minimum of 72 hours of food, and water for each member of your family and supplies for pets.  Don’t forget medications, flashlights, blankets and radio.
