In September 2012, Olympia Orthopaedic Associates opened its brand new medical facility which includes 35,000 square feet of clinical space and 22,000 square feet of state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center capabilities. In total, at 63,000 square feet, the new facility is one of the largest and most comprehensive orthopaedic centers in the Pacific Northwest, and will significantly increase access and services to patients in the greater Thurston County region. The new facility exemplifies the Organization’s commitment and mission to providing a Center of Excellence for quality, comprehensive, full service musculoskeletal care in Southwest Washington.
Located at 3901 Capital Mall Drive SW, the innovative ASC houses six operating rooms, doubling their former capacity for outpatient surgical volumes, and there is an extensive amount of space allocated for both pre-operative and post-operative care, allowing for the comfort and privacy patients expect in such an environment. The clinical space consists of an imaging center with three state-of-art MRI’s, 2 digital x-ray Centers, a 5,000 square foot Physical Therapy Suite, administrative space, and concierge services to assist with patient flow. The clinical space has been designed for growth and can accommodate up to 20 practicing physicians, in order to accommodate new specialty physicians and service lines.

On Tuesday, October 30th, OOA will be hosting a Grand Opening event where referring physicians around the community and dignitaries will be able to take tours and familiarize themselves with the new facility. On Saturday, November 3rd, they will hold a Public Open House for the community. This opportunity will allow the community to educate themselves about services offered at OOA and engage with some of the staff.
