With gas prices adding pressure to tight household budgets, saving money is probably at the top of your “to-do” list. Driving less is a great way to save some cash and it might be easier than you think! Drive less by combining trips (do multiple errands at the same time), skipping the trip, carpooling with a friend, vanpooling, riding the bus, biking, or walking. It all adds up to savings! In fact a two-person household can save nearly $10,000 a year using public transportation and living with one less car!

Intercity Transit will hold a fun, communitywide event to help you learn how to drive less and still get around – join them for a fun, community event:

Wednesday, June 20
