Swantown Marina
Invites Community to Marine Safety Day
Annual event includes vessel safety inspections, demonstrations, fire extinguisher refilling, expired flare disposal
The Port of Olympia’s Swantown Marina invites the community to its annual Marine Safety Day on Saturday, April 14, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, U.S. Power Squadron, West Marine and AmeriSafe representatives and Swantown staff will be set up on the sidewalk in front of the Harbor Office at 1022 Marine Drive NE, Olympia.
Visitors can have free vessel safety inspections, dispose of any expired flares, watch safety demonstrations, and have fire extinguishers refilled and tagged for a nominal fee (with no charge for Swantown tenants). Marine safety supplies will
be available for purchase.
