Have you ever had a great idea and said “I should make a t-shirt of that” or “I wish I could put that on a coffee mug” and then don’t follow through because all the online t-shirt design stores are too expensive? Or maybe you prefer to buy local but you can’t find anyone that will print only one or two? Now there is a solution to this dilemma with the new online design studio for t-shirts and products recently launched by Belize Tees.
The Belize Tees online design studio is similar to other online design studios but with the added bonus of being less expensive and, if you are a local buyer you can choose to pick up your item(s) in Tumwater, so no shipping charges. And turnaround is fairly fast. “The store gives an estimate of 7 to 10 days but we usually get it done within 2 or 3, said co-owner Judy Pitchford.
The design studio contains a wide variety of pre-made designs and clipart that can be customized with your own text. Many of the designs also allow you to change the colors. If you have your own design or image, it can be uploaded to the store and placed on the product of your choice.
“The company motto is ‘We make it personal’ because not only do we customize but we deal with each customer on a personal level, print every product ourselves, and care about making the product how they imagined it – or as close as we can possibly get”, said Judy. “The online store does not diminish this aspect of our customer service. We still deal with each order personally and are just a call or email away if the customer has an issue with the design studio. We are here to help.”
Belize Tees can also create stores for others with the same online design studio. They have already partnered with the Tumwater Girls Golf and created a “spirit store” to raise funds for their team. “Another store for a local charity is in the works”, said Judy. “It’s an awesome opportunity for schools and charities to raise money easily. With the store, they don’t have to buy a lot of product and hope they can sell it. We set up the store for free with the products and designs they want and send them their portion of the proceeds as things sell. All they have to do is advertise the store.”
