Saturday April 9th: Are you an animal lover? Do you know someone who is? Check out the Critter Fest in the Yards Birds Mall (2100 N National Ave. (I-5 exit 79) Chehalis, WA 98532) in Chehalis this weekend! Debbie the Parrot Lady will be visiting along with her feathered friends, and there will be both pets, and pet supplies for sale. This event is free, and will be going from 11AM-7PM on Saturday and 11AM-5PM on Sunday.
Sunday April 10th: This Sunday, the Traditions Café will be featuring live musical entertainment from 2PM-4PM. There is no charge, just sit down to a nice coffee and enjoy the good tunes. Past performances have included the Straw Hat String Band, and various drum circle groups!
Sunday April 10th: This Sunday, the Washington Center for the Performing Arts (512 Washington St SE Olympia, WA. 98501) will be showing a film of the acclaimed opera, “Lucia Di Lammermoor.” A chilling tale about a young woman who is driven to madness by being forced to marry a man that she does not love. The performers are all incredible Italian opera singers, such Natalie Dessay and Giuseppe Filianoti, Gabriele Viviani and Oren Gradus.
Tickets: $14.50 for adults and $7.25 for youth. Do not forget that the Washington Center charges an additional $2.50 service fee on top of all ticket prices. Tickets can be purchased online at their website: www.washingtoncenter.org
