Well 80 Olympia Scavenger Hunt!

On October 3rd, Well 80 is hosting an Olympia City Scavenger hunt!

We’ll give your team a list of things/scenarios/challenges in and around downtown Olympia, and you take pictures with them for points. The team with the most points wins Leopold’s Gold!

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO TAKE PART:
-3 people to make up a team (we suggest your wisest and/or coolest friends)
-Team uniform: Points will be awarded to the teams with the most unique uniforms, so put some thought into it!
-Team name: Something cool that can be read out loud in mixed company.
-A team captain that is versed in the ways of Instagram. Each team will set up a unique Instagram account and this is the medium we will use to track points.
-Comfortable shoes.
-Get to Well 80 at around 9:30AM on 10/3 to pick up your hunt packet and to enjoy your included breakfast burrito and coffee.
-Fill out a registration form and pay the $120 team fee.
-Be ready for the starting bell at 10AM
-Collect as many points as you can and be back at Well 80 by 1PM for awards!

WHAT IS IN THE PACKET?
-3 pairs of Well 80 Sunglasses, 3 Well 80 Water Bottles, 3 drink tickets, 3 cool Olympia posters, 3 Well 80 Hats, a list of objects, scenarios, and challenges, a map, a large image of Leopold Schmidt’s head, and official rules.

WHY A BREAKFAST HOUR?
-Because breakfast burritos are awesome
-So you can have an hour to build a strategy with your team
-It’s a good opportunity to scout the other teams and make non-monetary side bets
-Yes, you can buy beer/mimosas/drinks during the breakfast hour

WHAT ARE THE BASIC RULES?
-No driving or riding bikes/skateboards/rollerblades. Feet or public transit only.
-To be awarded points, a photo must be uploaded to Instagram and must include all the team members and the Leopold head. The post must include the proper tags (TBD).
-Must be 21 to register and participate.

WHAT CAN WE WIN?
-First prize is Leopold’s Gold! Which includes: A future beer to be named after the winning team; 3 unique custom house beer glasses with team and individual names engraved on the sides for use in the pub for 1 year (you get to take it home after the year is up); Team photo on the wall for one year
-Consolation prizes: TBD, but they’ll be cool too.
