The Tenino Farmers Market moves to downtown Tenino, across from the Tenino Fire Department, on Saturday, July 26, 10am-4pm, for Oregon Trail Days. Submit pie(s) to the annual “BLUE RIBBON PIE CONTEST” between 9:30am-11:30am; judging 12:30-2:00pm; winners announced at 2:30pm. See www.teninofarmersmarket.org for “Simple as Pie Rules” and application.
Pie categories are Berry, Fruit (other than berry), Cream/Custard, Nut, Fruit Cobbler/Crisp, and Junior Pie Baker (under 15). The annual fundraiser, “PIE BUY THE SLICE” begins at 12:30pm. Whole pies are also available for purchase.
