Wildlife biologist Pamela Maciel is currently working at Wolf Haven International as their Mexican Wolf and Bilingual Educational Specialist. She will give a Spanish language presentation about wolf conservation at the Olympia Timberland Library on Wednesday, December 2 from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m.

The program will include inspiring stories of rescued wolves and reports on efforts to protect two highly endangered wolf species.

Located in Tenino, Wolf Haven is a sanctuary for displaced and captive-born wolves. It offers educational programs about the role of wolves in ecosystems, and advocates for wolves in the wild. Wolf Haven has rescued and provided a lifetime home for over 180 captive-born and displaced wolves since 1982.
