Shred & Share Community Event

WSECU is welcoming the community to reduce the risk of identity theft by getting rid of old tax returns, financial statements and other personal papers at a free Shred & Share event on July 25 from 10:00 am -1:00 pm. It will also be a community donation drive for the YWCA’s Other Bank.

Everyone is welcome to bring three boxes of documents – or up to approximately 150 pounds – for shredding during the event that will be held at WSECU’s Downtown Olympia Branch located at 330 Union Ave in the adjoining parking lot.  The Shred & Share event is open to the general public regardless of WSECU membership and is free of charge. Giveaways and refreshments will also be offered. Participants are encouraged to bring a donation of household cleaning supplies or personal hygiene products to donate to the YWCA of Olympia.
