Join Masterworks Choral Ensemble as the group honors the full range of winter festivities from Christmas and Winter Solstice to Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. The title, Season of Light, embraces winter holiday traditions that bring the glow of light into the longest nights of the year with music including “Light the Kinara for Kwanzaa” and “The Chanukah Song, We Are Lights”. You’ll also hear beloved traditional holiday music such as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, and more contemporary treasures like “Joyful, Joyful” from the movie Sister Act 2. MCE can’t resist bringing humor into every concert so you can look forward to hearing “I Want to Stare at My Phone with You” and “Christmas Chopsticks” among others.
