Olympia-raised artist and musician Sarah Utter will talk about her experience as a working artist at the Olympia Timberland Library, Wednesday, April 22 from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m.
Utter’s predominant mediums are painting and printmaking but she is also a well-known graphic designer. Her “Reading is Sexy” merchandise – stickers, buttons, t-shirts and other items – is sold worldwide. Libraries rank high on Utter’s list of favorite things: “I was the kid who always imagined hiding in the stacks at closing” she said, “so I could secretly camp out in a library overnight.”
