Orca Celebrates Children’s Book Week: “The Girl from the Stars”

Join Amy Heart and Orca Books in celebration of Children’s Book Week with a sweet, Sunday afternoon reading of The Girl from the Stars: Hailey’s journey back to the Sky. Amy will perform her book, share excerpts from the next story, and demonstrate technology she used to create the magical lighting effects seen in her artwork.

This event is FREE to attend and hosted by Orca Books. While this book was written for all children who have ever felt different, author Amy and Orca Books are intentionally making this space safe for queer and trans families. Come join us for a magical afternoon of stardust and beyond!
