And the featured reader is… everyone! In August, the Olympia Poetry Network sponsors an All Open Mic night where poets old and young, published and unpublished, rhyming or free versed can share their work. First time readers are especially welcome. The event takes place Wednesday, August 20, 6:30-8 p.m. at Traditions Café, 300 5th Ave SW, Olympia and is free of charge. Poets are asked to limit their reading to 3 minutes or less. Write a new poem, bring an old one or just come and listen to the talent of Olympia’s poetry community.
