Music Concert: SPSCC Jazz Band and Orchestra

The concert marks the first performance for the year for the SPSCC Jazz Ensemble, as well as the first live performance ever for the new South Puget Sound College Orchestra. They’ll also be joined by the Lakewood Community Jazz Band.

The SPSCC Jazz Ensemble highlights swing and Latin jazz favorites with an energetic, big-band style.  The South Puget Sound College Orchestra presents a mix of traditional symphonic music and holiday tunes with a distinctive symphony orchestral flair. The Lakewood Community Jazz Band performs a holiday classic with a twist: Milton Rogers’ “Swingin’ Nutcracker.”
