Love a Pit Bull Day is an opportunity to celebrate an often misunderstood breed. We start the event with a Bully Walk, where dogs and their owners walk around Capitol Lake. The walk starts at 10:30 at the 5th and Water Street lawn portion of Heritage Park. The main event is from 11-2 in the same location, and consists of vendors ranging from education about pet rehabilitation and wellness, to dog treats, supplies and toys, to dog rescue organizations and other miscellaneous dog-related things. We invite friendly and socialized dogs of all breeds. No selling of pets or dogs in heat. See the event page for more details!
