We’re very excited to offer our first-ever jewelry event at InGenius! on Saturday February 4th from 1:00-5:00 PM. Right on time for Valentine’s Day, come meet our jewelry artists and be dazzled by their one-of-kind creations. All of them have both statement pieces and simple, more understated work to choose from.
Betsy Childress dreams up beaded wonderment in bracelets, pendants, earrings and unexpected art objects that must be seen to be believed.
Our three artisans who work with metals do custom work, as well as much of their own lapidary, which means they cut, shape and polish stones, minerals, and gemstones into the beautiful focal points used in their pieces:
* Crystal Rx offers intricate, out-of-this-world sterling silver and copper wire weaving around colorful and unusual stones. A husband and wife team, each has a distinctive style that brings added variety to their line.
* Payette Still works in sterling silver, creating rings, pendants & earrings from dainty to daring. She even does some of her own mining and brings back truly remarkable stones to feature in her work. Her costume jewelry boot bling is sure to surprise!
* Yael Klein’s stonework is surrounded by fine silver she’s transmuted into pendants, as well as rings for men & women. Her signature in this current line: hand-stamped designs reminiscent of the ancient or tribal. For a simple look, her chain bracelets and necklaces are built link by link.
Award-winning fused glass artist Michael Apfel’s jewelry is the perfect option for lovers of color! He makes pendants, earring and pendant sets, and bracelets that truly brighten our world.
