This excellent film is co-sponsored by OUUC Environmental Justice. In April we celebrate Earth Day and this powerful documentary is timely in its message about both our vulnerability and our potential for positive change. The film makers investigate the impacts of climate change on increased resource scarcity, migration, and conflict through the lens of US national security and global stability documenting how climate change stressors interact with societal tensions, sparking conflict. The Pentagon insiders featured in the film make the compelling case that if we go on with business as usual, the consequences of climate change will continue with grave implications for peace and security in the 21st century.
