Community Youth Services – Have a Heart Breakfast for Kids – 2021
What pairs better than the pandemic ending and comedy to support our community’s youth? Community Youth Services in Olympia will host its 19th annual Have a Heart Breakfast for Kids on Thursday, April 1, 6:00-6:30 p.m. This classic event goes virtual this year – light on everyone’s time for those already full on Zoom, and light in spirit to celebrate youths’ resilience! Order breakfast from one of three featured local restaurants (Don Eduardo’s, Park Side Cafe, or Shipwreck Cafe), settle in in your best pandemic breakfast attire, and watch local comedy and uplifting stories from our local youth who have changed their life through CYS. With over 50 years in youth service, CYS has helped youth across Thurston County and Western Washington transition from homelessness to stable, thriving lives as young adults. Your support is vital to the youth this year! Come hear their stories, laugh together, and (by donation), raise funds for a good cause, too!
