Join the Center for Natural Land Management on Saturday, February 9 for a conservation lecture and volunteer workday! The day will begin at Shotwell’s Landing Nursery at 10am. Nate Johnson, CNLM Invasive Species Project Manager, will give a short lecture about planning restoration projects on our local prairie preserves and Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Bring questions for this informal, and fascinating talk! After this, we will commute right around the corner to Glacial Heritage Preserve to pull Scotch broom until 3pm. Come and be a part of restoring our prairies!

Bring: water, your lunch, and dress for the weather

Please email ssvolunteers@cnlm.org, with any questions (specific driving directions) or interest in our downtown Olympia carpool.
