Book Signing with Larry Korn, Author of “One Straw Revolutionary

Join us for this special visit with author Larry Korn, who will be discussing the philosophy and work of the legendary and influencial Japanese natural farmer Masanobu Fukuoka. Mr. Korn lived and worked Fukuoka’s farm in the 1970s, helped to translate and edit his best-selling book The One-Straw Revolution, and traveled with him acting as his guide and translator during Mr. Fukuoka’s visits to the United States.

Mr. Korn will also be speaking about his recently published book, One-Straw Revolutionary, the first English-language book written about Mr. Fukuoka rather than by him. In it Mr. Korn explains Fukuoka’s philosophy and techniques in ways that might be easier for Western readers to understand. Mr. Korn also describes the similarities and differences between natural farming and Indigenous ways, traditional Japanese agriculture, organic farming and permaculture.
