Join us this year at Squaxin Park (formerly Priest Point Park) at Picnic Shelter #4, on Saturday, October 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our 2022 Arbor Day celebration! Trees and forests are part of the fabric and identity of our community. They help keep our air and water clean, provide shade on hot summer days, and make our parks and greenspaces inviting for both people and wildlife alike. Each year, the City and its partners host a variety of Arbor Day events to celebrate our forests and join the community in planting new trees for future generations. We will have a free plant giveaway, Arborists on hand to answer questions, kids’ activities, and more!
