The Mission of Hospice Without Borders is to work with community partners to improve access to hospice and palliative care services amongst the destitute sick and dying.
We preferentially work with countries and communities that have suffered significant historical trauma in relationship to dying.
Our primary base of operation is in the Republic of Rwanda, but we have also worked in Burundi, Uganda and here in the USA with the Native American community of the Pacific Northwest and the chronically homeless in Washington State.
