Thurston County Public Health and Social Services (PHSS) is partnering with Providence Health and Services of Southwest Washington (Providence) to host a second dose COVID-19 vaccination clinic. This clinic is for county residents with a scheduled appointment at the Regional Athletic Complex (RAC) in Lacey on Saturday, March 6, 2021. This clinic is only for residents who received their first dose on February 6 at the RAC vaccination clinic.

The vaccination clinic is not open to those without previously scheduled appointments. PHSS and Providence are not able to accept additional requests for appointments for this clinic and will not be administering first doses. PHSS and Providence are asking residents not to attend unless they have a previously scheduled appointment with an email confirmation from Providence.

Patients who received their first vaccine dose on Feb. 6 at the RAC and have not seen an email to sign up for the second dose should check their spam or junk folder. If they are still unable to locate the sign-up information, they may email SWPMGCOVIDVaccineTeam@providence.org or call 1-855-776-4362 option 1 for help scheduling an appointment.

Patients who did not attend the Feb. 6 clinic and are seeking a second vaccine dose should contact the health care provider who administered their first vaccine dose. The health care provider will receive the allotment for the second dose from the State Department of Health.

Patient confidentiality and privacy are a high priority. PHSS and Providence request media not attend the vaccination clinic. Please coordinate with Magen Johnson, contact information above, if you require additional information about this second dose clinic.

In accordance with DOH vaccine phase guidelines, all people 65 and older, and people 50 and older living in multigenerational households, are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Thurston County residents can use the State Department of Health’s (DOH) online Find Your Phase tool to determine their eligibility to receive the vaccine and search for available vaccine appointments. Thurston County residents without internet access can call the Washington State

Department of Health vaccine phone line at 888-856-5816 to receive assistance with making vaccine appointments as they become available. A Spanish language option is also available. If you are unable to reach DOH through their vaccine line, you may call Thurston County Public Health and Social Services at 360-867-2610 for assistance.

Due to the high call volume, DOH and PHSS are experiencing, please be patient if you are unable to receive immediate assistance. If you have access to email or internet, please use those methods for scheduling appointments before calling DOH or PHSS.
