As basketball season prepares to begin Northwest Christian High School in Lacey is currently seeking an assistant boys basketball coach.

Northwest Christian had a very successful season last year going 15-5 in the regular season before being eliminated in the District 4 play-offs.   An unfortunate injury to an All-League player at Christmas really hurt Northwest Christian down the stretch and in the District Play-offs.

The Wolverines expect to be in the thick of the Pacific 2B League race again after finishing 4th last year. They return 4 starters including 3 players who have started for 2 seasons.   Most of the bench players also return with a number of them getting some varsity experience last year.

The JV program had its second straight winning season last year and will return quite a few players from last year as well. The freshman class also appears to have good numbers for the 2B School.   However, at this time the JV program is lacking a coach.

This assistant would be in charge of the JV program and would also help with the varsity team from time to time.  If you have interest please contact Rick at ricktigges@hotmail.com.
