Thurston EDC Accepting Applications for Next ScaleUp Thurston Cohort

Now’s the time to APPLY for the second Cohort of ScaleUp Thurston, a program of the Center for Business & Innovation that is designed to accelerate start-up companies from early success to significant growth and expansion.  The 14-week experience begins May 7, 2016 and runs through July 28, 2016.  The application deadline is April 4, 2016 for this round.

The CB&I launched ScaleUp Thurston in 2015, and companies who have participated in the program are already seeing the value and results.  “I love taking this class,” said Jason Phillips, owner of Zoe Juice Bar.  “There are lots of insightful information and tools, and the ability to connect with likeminded individuals in the region has been really valuable.”

ScaleUp Thurston is a comprehensive business growth training program, which includes in-person classroom training and one-on-one coaching to help small business owners plan and achieve their goals. The training program lasts a total of 14 weeks and includes ten weeks of classroom instruction and four exclusive networking events. At the end of the training businesses will have developed a customized growth plan for their business. 

ScaleUp is designed for companies in operation two or more years, with revenue between $150,000 and $500,000 per year that are committed to doubling or tripling their revenue in the next few years. To be considered for the May – July 2016 training program complete and submit the ScaleUp Application.  Applications must be received by April 4, 2016.  Participants approved for the training program will be notified by mid-April.
