Providence St. Peter Foundation has elected four new members to its board of directors. President of the Board Dan Davidson, D.D.S., says, “All of our board members have a deep passion for the mission of Providence in our community, and we’re glad these members are joining as new advocates for the work we make possible.”

Jodi Ashline, a realtor with Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty, is among the four new board members to join the foundation. Ashline says, “I’m excited to be involved with such an important service to our society. I look forward to giving back to a community that has been so supportive, not only in my professional life, but in my personal and my children’s lives.”

Ashline’s husband, Wes, passed away three years ago after a cancer diagnosis. “We were the beneficiaries of remarkable care and compassion in his battle with cancer,” Ashline

says. “When you see the inside of the healthcare process as a patient, you become so appreciative of what it takes to be in the medical field, to care for patients day after day who are often battling for their lives.”

Davidson adds, “As we get nearer to our Christmas Forest Gala, one of our big focuses right now is the creation of a cancer survivorship clinic.” The clinic will support patients from the moment of diagnosis, and is designed to promote physical, psychological, spiritual, and social well being for those diagnosed and living with cancer.

Also joining the board are Alex Bunn, Kimberly Ellwanger, and Navneet Singha, M.D. Each will serve a three year term. “We’re very excited to have these new members joining us,” says Davidson. “They bring depth of experience from the business community and not-for-profits, and a deep respect for the importance of having access to high-quality

health care right here in our community.”

Retiring from the board after a combined 36 years of service are Judy Blinn; James Hannum, M.D.; and James McDowell, M.D.
