My husband has done a masterful job getting our garden space ready for planting. The only problem – the recent downpours have made me want to stay inside, nursing a cough, and reading a book rather than braving the elements to get little seeds planted. The garden plot has an equal mix of old soil, chicken manure from the winter, and fresh mushroom compost. I’m hoping that aggregating some recent gardening articles will spur me into action. We’ll see… a cup of hot tea and another chapter in my book sounds quite lovely.
