Friday September 9th – Sunday September 11th: Prepare for the Bluegrass hoedown of the season at the 9th Annual Bluegrass in Tumwater. General admission is on the cheap with $5 per person per day. Plus, the festival will be held at the Pavilion at the American Heritage Campground (9610 Kimmie St. SW. Olympia, WA 98512) so for $15 per day you can snag a camping spot for your tent or RV complete with tables, fire pits and general services.
Saturday September 10th: This Saturday is Tumwater Community Day! There will be food, games, live music by the Straw Hat String Band, coffee with Mayor Kmet, huge military truck tours and much more! This entire event is free so head on over to Tumwater City Hall (555 Israel Rd. SW Tumwater, WA 98501)! Saturday September 10th: Cheer for your favorite team (Yelm vs. Black Hills) during the girl’s Varsity and JV soccer games at Tumwater Stadium (700 Israel Road SW Tumwater, WA 98501). JV plays at 10:30AM, and Varsity plays at noon.
