March 20, 2019 – Tumwater, WA – The 14th Season of the Tumwater Town Center Farmers Market will open April 17, 2019. The Market will run every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, at the corner of Capitol Boulevard and Israel Road in Tumwater.
After setting a record sales session in 2018, the Tumwater Farmers Market is returning bigger and better. More vendors, greater variety, more community booths, and more informational booths, all will be on display for twenty-four consecutive weeks this summer. Live music will entertain shoppers as they roam amongst the fruit, vegetable, dairy, and artisan displays. Several prepared food vendors will offer a wide-array of food choices for lunchtime nourishment.
The Tumwater Town Center Farmers Market is now the second-largest farmers market in Thurston and Lewis Counties, and the only Wednesday offering in the area. Parking is available next door behind WSECU, and Market Match dollars matching $20 per week for EBT/SNAP users is available weekly, the highest matching program in Western Washington.
