Local band, The Straws are releasing their first full length album: “Dy” on January 31st. The release show will start 7PM at the Midnight Sun in downtown Olympia, with Olympia’s “Captain Algebra” and Seattle’s up-incoming “Modern Tribes.”
After winning the Lake Fair Battle of the Bands this summer, The Straws have poured out their hearts and souls to make this album sound like more than just a few teenagers playing music. This is the sound of the Pacific Northwest.
