The South Puget Sound Community College Drama Program is kicking off its 2015-16 season with “Moon Over Buffalo,” led by new faculty members Sarah Turnquist and Stephanie Ybarra-Rotelli.

The comedy runs from Thursday, Nov. 12, through Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Mainstage. The Nov. 12-14 shows begin at 7 p.m., and the Nov. 15 show begins at 2 p.m.

From award winning playwright Ken Ludwig, “Moon Over Buffalo” is a comedy of errors, mistaken identity, and just a bit of sexual innuendo.

George and Charlotte Hay are two fading stars from the 1950s who are given one last shot at Hollywood stardom. Famed film director Frank Capra is coming to see them perform with their repertory company in Buffalo, New York, and if he likes what he sees, he will cast them in his new film. However, George’s dalliance with a member of their company has just been discovered and now everything that could possibly go wrong does. This madcap comedy is sure to delight audiences from start to finish.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for seniors and members of the military, and $5 for all students, staff and faculty with a valid ID.
