Authors Tomas Moniz, Dani Burlison and Ariel Gore

Bay Area authors Tomas Moniz and Dani Burlison will bring the “Bellies, Buffalos and Social Taboos Roadshow” to Orca Books. They’ll be joined by Ariel Gore, who will be promoting her new memoir, The End of Eve.

Tomas Moniz is the founder, editor, and a writer for the award-winning zine (and now magazine) Rad Dad. Dani Burlison has been a staff writer for a Bay Area alt-weekly, a columnist for McSweeney’s Internet Tendency and a book reviewer for the Los Angeles Review. She writes a music/lit column at The Rumpus and is a freelancer of epic proportions. Ariel Gore is the editor and publisher of the magazine Hip Mama and the author of eight books. The End of Eve chronicles her years spent caring for her dying mother. The memoir has been described as “Terms of Endearment meets Whatever Happened to Baby Jane”.
