Animal lovers at the Lacey Timberland Library (LTL) invite everyone to attend an Animal Video Festival and Photo Contest, Friday, September 26 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Fans of “Henri Le Chat Noir” will meet creator Will Braden, also the producer and curator of the Internet Cat Video festival. Braden has over 15 million video “views” to his credit.
Also attending will be Susanne Beauregard, director of Joint Animal Services and host of TCTV’s “Best Friends Animal Adoption.” She will be accompanied by “Cal” the Joint Animal Services mascot and office cat. (With this one exception, the “no animals in the library” rule remains in effect.)
Prior to the Festival, photographers are encouraged to enter an animal photo contest, with prizes offered in several categories and awarded at the event. September 12 is the deadline for entries. Contest guidelines are available at the LTL Information Desk.
The Friends of the Lacey Timberland Library support this event and will provide popcorn and beverages.
