The City of Lacey (City) is recruiting for an upcoming vacancy on the Parks, Culture and Recreation Board (Parks Board) for a term that expires on November 11, 2026.
The Parks Board makes recommendations to the Lacey City Council regarding planning, acquisition, construction, development, maintenance, and operation of public recreation facilities and programs in Lacey, including parks, open spaces, and recreational and cultural programming.
The Parks Board meets the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at Lacey City Hall (420 College Street SE). Members serve three-year terms, with a two-term limit. Applicants for this vacancy must reside in the City of Lacey or within the Lacey Urban Growth Area.
