Planned Power Outages for Timberlake Area in Shelton on March 27

Mason PUD 3 has announced that on Monday, March 27, 2023, there will be a series of planned power outages for customers in the Timberlakes area and surrounding roadways. The outages are necessary for PUD 3 to upgrade its facilities and reduce the outage restoration times for customers in the future.

The planned outage will be staggered for the various areas throughout Timberlakes beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 27th and lasting until approximately 4:30, with each individual outage expected to last approximately 1-2 hours. Nearly 480 customers will be affected throughout the day.

Letters of notification have been sent to customers in the project area.

The following roadways will be affected on this schedule:

9:00-10:30 a.m.Aspen Ct, Aspen Pl, Carr Pl, Case Pl, Colvos Pl, Dana Pl, Dyes Pl, Eastlake Dr, Eld Pl, Hammersley Pl, Iron Wood Pl, Liberty Pl, Nisqually Pl, Sinclair Pl, , Skookum Dr, , Skywater Pl, Stavis Rd, Treewater Pl, Timberlake Dr, Timberlake West Dr, Vaughn Pl
10:30-11:30 a.m.Blackbeards Run, Crows Nest Ct, Hammersley Reach, Kyak Ct, Sea Spray Ln

While the project is underway motorists may experience occasional traffic delays. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

As with any outage, the PUD recommends that sensitive electronic appliances and equipment be turned off and unplugged until power is restored for at least 20 minutes. Also, especially with today’s electronics, it is important for customers to consider the use of surge protectors in their homes.
