Submitted by Intercity Transit

Intercity Transit welcomes Greyhound to the Olympia Transit Center, providing regional and national bus travel options to South Puget Sound residents. Passengers can purchase Greyhound tickets in person using a credit card at the Customer Service counter and ship and receive packages via Greyhound beginning January 15, 2022.

Customer Service for Greyhound and Intercity Transit is co-located at 205 Franklin St. in Olympia and is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week. The Customer Service entrance is located on Olympia Ave.

Along with the added services, recent improvements to Olympia Transit Center include:

  • New sidewalks and ADA accessible ramps along State Avenue and Washington Street.
  • New pathways to improve pedestrian flow and safe crossing to the main bus platform.
  • Updated lighting, benches, and amenities.
  • Updated landscaping.

“It is exciting to see these enhancements come together. Combined, they bring to life the vision for an accessible transit network that expands travel opportunities to destinations both near and far,” said Ann Freeman-Manzanares, Intercity Transit’s General Manager. “We are proud to partner with Greyhound to make this possible for our community.”
