Providence Regional Cancer System prioritizes a patient-centered approach, offering advanced treatment options closer to home for our Providence Swedish patients in the South Puget Sound. We are thrilled to announce an outstanding addition to our Gynecologic Oncology team: Crystal Adams, MD  joining Robert Ore, MD.

As part of our continued commitment to provide the highest quality of cancer care, Ore and Adams bring a wealth of expertise and dedication to our community.

Both Ore and Adams are fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologists specializing in cancers of the reproductive organs, including ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar cancers, as well as Gestational Trophoblastic Disease.

More about Crystal Adams, MD

Dr. Crystal Adams is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist who specializes in the treatment of ovarian, endometrial, cervical and vulvovaginal cancers. She has expertise in complex abdominopelvic surgery as well as minimally invasive surgery including both laparoscopic and robotic procedures. Additionally, she administers chemotherapy for gynecologic cancers.

“I take pride in being able to provide comprehensive care to my patients throughout their cancer journey,” she says. “I strongly value shared decision making and patient education to ensure the best care possible.”

Dr. Robert Ore and team offers minimally invasive as well as open comprehensive surgical procedures for malignancy and complex cases, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, radiation oncology, as well as adjunctive capabilities such as naturopathic medicine, physical therapy, lymphedema therapy, and clinical trials. The team is proudly part of the Providence-Swedish network, with the ability to partner with nationally recognized experts.

Ore and his wife, Beth, and three sons, Miriam, David and Ben, returned to the Northwest after a career of military service including serving in the US Navy and Medical Corp in the US Air Force. They moved to be closer to extended family who run a hazelnut and produce farm in Roseburg. Dr. Ore enjoys fishing, gardening and taking care of pets in his spare time.
