Are you, or do you know someone who is 16-21 and is thinking about dropping out of high school, or already have? GRuB and GRAVITY partner to offer the GroundED program in spring, summer, and fall.

The GroundED program is available to youth ages 16-21, who are already enrolled in GRAVITY, or are eligible to enroll in GRAVITY. GRAVITY is our region’s dropout re-engagement program, offering support for earning a GED, their HS diploma, and additional education and planning for personal success. In GroundED, youth participate in an outdoor education and job training program based on running GRuB’s small sustainable farm in West Olympia. While attending, youth also spend time working on their educational and employment goals with a GRAVITY Instructional Assistant. Youth can earn up to $1,000 in an educational stipend for their participation.

GRuB is located just off of Division Street, where the Intercity Transit 41 bus line stops every 30 minutes.

To learn more about the program, visit the GRuB website. To contact the Youth Program Coordinator Gabriel Marks, email gabriel@goodgrub.org or call 360.753.5522.
