As the Fall Quarter approaches, South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) wants students to know the College has $500,000 in CARES Act funds still available for student need. These funds can help students pay for technology, tuition, food, housing, health care, child care, and other basic needs.
The $500,000 is the remainder of funds from the nearly $2.6 million that was awarded to SPSCC in April 2020 as part of the $2 trillion CARES Act. A breakdown of how $1.5 million of the funding is being allocated to provide student supports can been viewed at this dashboard.
SPSCC students in need of supports should contact their Educational & Career Planner or Financial Aid Advisor as soon as possible.
