The Heritage Park Fountain repairs project is now complete and the fountain is operating on its normal winter schedule, Thursday-Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., closed Wednesdays. Summer hours will begin in June.

This project replaced the 20-year-old control system and treatment system. Citizens will not notice any change in the fountain other than slight chlorine odors due to the change of the disinfection agent from bromine to chlorine. The new controls are continuously monitoring and adjusting the chlorine concentrations and other parameters to ensure they stay within the Department of Health regulated concentrations. In addition, Parks staff are manually testing the chlorine levels daily.
