The Oly Town Artesians home game against the Tacoma Stars Reserves on Saturday, January 7 has been moved up to 3:00 p.m. so that fans and players can enjoy the Seattle Seahawks playoff game later that evening. Doors for the afternoon tilt at The Pavilion at The Evergreen State College between two teams tied for second place in the Western Indoor Soccer League will open at 2:15 p.m. and tickets are available at the door.

Saturday afternoon is Toyota of Olympia Night featuring games, prizes and giveaways throughout the game thanks to our friends at Toyota of Olympia. Fans are also encouraged to bring drums and other noise makers by the Artesians supporters group for this important league game.

Oly Town enters the game with seven points with a 2-1-1 record and are tied with the Tacoma Stars Reserves in points on the league table, just two points behind league leader Bellingham United. Oly knocked off Sporting Everett 8-6 in their last game on December 17th behind a hat trick by Willie Spurr. Spurr is tied with Matt Stalnik and Alex Castillo for the team lead in goals with five apiece.

The Tacoma Stars Reserves played a light December schedule knocking off Bellingham United 11-3 on December 3rd before drawing with the Snohomish Skyhawks 4-4 on their home field on the 17th and are also 2-1-1. The two teams played to a 5-5 draw in their only meeting last season.

Oly Underground is hosting the Artesians for a postgame celebration/Seahawks watch party after the game on Saturday afternoon. Fans 21 and over are invited to join the festivities. Oly Underground is located at 109 Legion Way SW in downtown Olympia.
