Bring the whole family to Lacey’s eclectic Community Market on Saturday, August 10. From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., enjoy free music, entertainment, activities for kids, and shop its unique outdoor market at Huntamer Park.
The Lacey Community Market offers both traditional and non-traditional market items including seasonal produce and fresh-cut flowers, breads, honey, and locally-made and harvested foods. You will also find crafts, hand-made jewelry, furniture, antiques, collectibles, forgotten treasures, refreshments and local cuisine (i.e., barbeque, bakery treats, and many other delicious snacks). Over 70 vendors are expected to line the streets for a distinct shopping experience.
Visitors to the market can enjoy free concerts and entertainment throughout the day. Don’t miss the Latin/World musical sounds by Correo Aereo, beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by Gypsy jazz string band Hot Club Sandwich at 12:00 noon. An exciting breakdance battle begins at 2:00 p.m. Plus, free face painting, Tumble Bus, and outdoor activities for children, all day long.
