Ascent Audiology is holding a special event on Tuesday, September 6, starting at 7:30 a.m. They are hosting the Thurston County Chamber’s Morning MIXXER networking event where they will be collecting school supplies for the Little Red Schoolhouse.
Attendees are encouraged to bring paper, 3-ring binders, rulers, crayons, child-size scissors, pencils and backpacks. Last year 2,879 kids benefitted from the Little Red Schoolhouse Project.
Ascent Audiology will also have the traditional morning pastries, coffee and a drawing for TV Ears (a device that has earphones to amplify TV for hearing impaired). There also will be information about the technical changes in hearing aids and the work being done around the world to get hearing aids to those who don’t usually have access to them.
Ascent Audiology is located at 365 Cooper Pt. Rd., Ste. 102 on Olympia’s Westside.
Morning MIXXer provides a low-key atmosphere for area professionals to meet and greet. It is held monthly the first Tuesday of each month and is hosted by Thurston County Chamber Members at various locations. General admission is $10. Chamber members pay only $5. School supplies can be dropped off without admission.
