Stories of Love and Seduction: an evening of bilingual storytelling

Dorothy Ormes, renowned storyteller, from Ashland, Oregon tells El Que Tiene Dinero Hace Lo Que Quiere – He Who Has Money Does What He Wants, an oral folktale collected in the mountains of Chile in the 1950’s and Flowing Velvet, a personal memoir of her Chilean grandmother. Story Swap, in the second hour, features local tellers from the South Sound Story Guild, whose goal is to promote the art of oral storytelling.
