Award-winning Amenities in an Elegant Victorian Setting at Olympia Bed & Breakfast
Alicia Elliott, owner of the Marie Bed and Breakfast as well as the tireless, driven heart behind the West Central Park project, The Rolling Pin and the Park Side Café, is tremendously proud of her team at the Marie Bed & Breakfast. As a small, two-staff operation with only four rooms, Abbey and Innkeeper Emily were thrilled to be competing against big businesses and winning.
Both out of town guests and locals in need of a luxurious staycation have found this fairytale B&B, a magical place that seems transported from the past, bedecked in Victorian splendor and quiet luxury.
The Marie Bed & Breakfast is a perfectly preserved slice of 1892 that brings history to life every day. “Fan favorite amenities are the porcelain bathtubs, our classic breakfasts like eggs benedict and enjoying our backyard gardens and the West Central Park,” she says.
And rightfully so. The bed and breakfast’s eggs benedict, for example, is offered in at least six different ways: traditional, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan (with secret house recipe hollandaise sauce) and no pork (using beef bacon instead). Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice, simply discuss the details with staff when reserving your rooms.
Olympia Staycation Escape with Special B&B Rates
On February 24, 2024, drop by for an open house from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Whether you’ve visited before or not yet had the pleasure, Elliott and her staff are happy to welcome folks for cookies, coffee, tea and tours. No RSVP is needed.
Book any stay between February 1 and March 31 and receive 20% off and a bouquet of roses using the promotion code FEB2024. The code is available for all rooms, both cottages and those in the main house. Locals always receive the royal treatment – contact the B&B for details on local discounts – so slip away to relax, refresh and unplug any time you need. Come celebrate with your sweetie, your Galentine’s Day crew, or just a good book and some old-fashioned peace and quiet.
For large-scale events like birthdays, staff have even reserved the whole hotel. Oak Cottage is ADA accessible and dog friendly.
Last year’s summer concerts were al fresco delights, so Elliott hopes to develop more for 2024. “We want to have the band on the porch and the guests all around the patio and yard,” she says. “They’re a great way to experience the magic of the Marie.”
The Marie Bed & Breakfast in Olympia Caters to Everyone
The Marie’s attention to detail extends beyond just the gorgeous interiors, outdoor gardens, locally sourced dining and claw-foot bathtubs. Recent guests have raved about such details as the specialty soaps for their bubble bath, heavenly bed linens and gorgeous outdoors setting.
