Alicia Elliott, owner of the Marie Bed and Breakfast as well as the tireless, driven heart behind the West Central Park project, The Rolling Pin and the Park Side Café, is tremendously proud of her team at the Marie Bed & Breakfast. The Marie Bed & Breakfast is a perfectly preserved slice of 1892 that brings history to life every day. “Fan favorite amenities are the porcelain bathtubs, our classic breakfasts like eggs benedict and enjoying our backyard gardens and the West Central Park,” she says.
And rightfully so. The bed and breakfast’s eggs benedict, for example, is offered in at least six different ways: traditional, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan (with secret house recipe hollandaise sauce) and no pork (using beef bacon instead). Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice, simply discuss the details with staff when reserving your rooms.

Last year’s summer concerts were al fresco delights, so Elliott hopes to develop more for 2024. “We want to have the band on the porch and the guests all around the patio and yard,” she says. “They’re a great way to experience the magic of the Marie.”
